The latest series of "New Tricks" came to a conclusion in October but we have only just watched the final episode. This is one of our favourite TV shows and Episode 10 "The Queen's Speech" was a fitting finale. Lots of great location shots of Harrow School and hardly any scenes with Denis Waterman.
The one great moment for me was the final song "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure. After the inspired inclusion of their song "Friday I'm In Love" in the Richard Curtis movie "About Time", this latest use of one of their songs was almost as good.
