The Garden in July

The main border has come into it's own in the last few weeks. Since my post of the 21st June, the tall Delphinium Pacific Giant (on the left of the second photo above and below) has flowered profusely.

The Penstemon firebird on the right of the photos at the top(and below) goes on and on.

As does the blue geranium below.

The Honeysuckle at the back is now at it's best.

The roses were late into flower but are now doing fine.

The rose below is "Blue for You".

This is "Eyes for You (Blue Eyes)". Not sure if they are blue.

I just love this geranium at the end of the wildflower bed.

I always know when the plants need some water as the first to wilt is the Astrantia Snow Star. Fortunately it has been awhile since it needed any.

The hot bed at the far end is almost at it's best. The red Lychnis  is backed by the tall Achillea that is yet to fully flower.

Finally, the hanging baskets and tubs at the front have been a success, unlike previous years. And Alison's father's pink Geranium in the border has never been better.

This Spirea in the side patio below was in a very poor way when it was covered by the giant holly bush that is now no more. But now it has recovered with lovely deep pink flowers.
