The Garden in February

A few days ago, the lawn had it's first cut. Not an awful lot to come off on a high setting, but it does look a lot better.

The daffodils are coming out along the dwarf wall and in front I placed the pots of iris reticulata.

Later in the month, after some unseasonably mild days, the daffodils are in full flower.

But the crocuses are nearly over.

The odd primrose look fine.

The geraniums I planted in pots last year are coming on.

The snowdrops have been out for a while  but are not that keen on this mild weather.

Both Acanthus are doing well.

And so are the Hyacinth.
